Short Description: There will be a memorial for Reverend Stanley Miller held at the George A. Abram Memorial Pavilion behind McDonald's on South Main Street.

Extended Description: There will be a memorial for Reverend Stanley Miller held at the George A. Abram Memorial Pavilion behind McDonald's on South Main Street at 3:00 pm on August 20th. The service will include a keynote by Rev. Dr. Marvin McMickle and also remarks from Stanley Miller's son, Stanley Miller, Jr., as well as community representatives Darryl Q. Tucker, Reverend David Cann, Reverend A. G. Miller, Jeanine Donaldson, and Melanie Satterfield. Thank you to the individuals and organizations who made this program possible, including the presenters listed, Rust United Methodist Church, Wesley United Methodist Church, The First Church in Oberlin, U.C.C., the City of Oberlin and Ian Yarber of the Recreation Department, Lorain County Racial Equity Center, Elyria NAACP Unit, Oberlin Heritage Center, Tim Williams, Oberlin Rotary Club, and Oberlin Weekly. In the event of rain, the event will be held at The First Church in Oberlin, U.C.C. and the location change will be confirmed on their website (firstchurchoberlin.org).
