Extended Description: Clarence Bechter once rode his bike 3,000 miles from San Diego, California to St. Augustine, Florida. He did this at the young age of 68 years old. Clarence wrote a book about his experience, and we’d love if you joined us August 13th from 2-4pm to listen to this remarkable man talk about his journey. Come meet Clarence during Oberlin’s August edition of Second Saturdays, it’d be a beautiful day for a bike ride.
