Kids Through the Decades Youth Camp

Short Description: Children will get to learn about what life was like for American kids throughout the decades of the 20th century, exploring topics such as school life, pop culture, chores, and recreation.

Extended Description: Hands-on educational history camp for boys and girls ages 8-13. What did children wear in the 1910s? What kinds of toys were around in the 1950s? How did my parents listen to music when they were my age? Children will get to learn about what life was like for American kids throughout the decades of the 20th century, exploring topics such as school life, pop culture, chores, and recreation through activities, games, and objects in the Oberlin Heritage Center collection.
